I came from USA to India on 23-Nov-2012 at 7:30 AM and from 28-Nov-2012 started going to work ( this location is a different location than the offshore project location). As I am an introvert, I am not social with people around. As I was new to that place and working alone on my project. I had my work station placed directly under a security camera and near an exit door. One of my cousin brother was recruited 6 months before i came to India to use him in the harassment. They even placed tactically some known persons in the building. For one month every thing went fine and I got my US extension visa stamping done on 2-Jan-2013.
There were some couple of people voluntarily tried to start talk. One person stopped by at my desk and started a friendly talk and was asking if I have any properties in the USA and took my employee ID and later sent a test email. Another person greeted me on January 1 and asked me to help with some work related help and I did and later he stopped by with more questions to get paranoid reaction.
In December, I went to my home town for two days to transfer my domestic gas connection. I was told the owner of the gas agency was dead and will taken another one month to complete the new ownership and complete the formalities. I went to a our goldsmith, and he was telling that his son was working in the same company as mine and gave his employee id. I went to friend of mine and his was mother was asking about kids, my friend and brother were playing the scripts to evoke paranoid reaction.
People are speaking on their cell phone as they walk by and stare at you. Blatant, hostile or smirking stares are also common. Sometimes they may not be one the phone and just overtly pass hints as they walk by. The harassment was relayed with metaphors, verbal remarks, & symbolism using my past professional experiences. Insults or comments by people, designed to evoke a paranoid reaction, as well as dirty looks & negative behavior from people around. They were speaking on their cell phone & loudly accent the passing hints as they walk by & stare. Different people will stop by at my desk to open the exit door as they have forgot their regular security access card. Different people knocks the door and queries about a project name to evoke paranoid reaction.
On 08-Feb-2013, The mobbing effects were so unbearable, I have put my papers and raised a request for resignation in company portal without any negative remarks. The mobbing has subsided for sometime and later continued till the last day of my resignation on 08-Mar-2013.
** I wanted to quit the job when I was in USA given 15 days notice. However, the suggestions from friend was so damn convincing that I have to keep the job. But, the covert intention is to discredit me, make jobless and continue harassment for their practicing and experimenting as another TI mentioned in "The Hidden Evil " by Mark Rich. As with every TI, I was not aware why this is happening not only at this time, but at every instance in my life.
